Wellness at Coriander Kitchen and Farm – Soulful Vinyasa Flow with Debrina Morris #4

September 15 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am

Soulful Vinyasa Flow with Debrina Morris – Every 3rd Friday

We’re all about bringing you farm-fresh food that nourishes both your body and soul. That got us thinking: why stop at just providing delicious meals? We’re thrilled to announce the launch of Wellness at Coriander Kitchen and Farm, where we’ll be offering a range of enriching classes to nurture all aspects of your being.

You can expect a gentle flow to get the body moving, the breath flowing and leaving you feeling refreshed.

Debrina began her yoga journey taking classes at the local community center in her area and practiced off and on for several years.  In 2020 during  the pandemic, she found herself stressed, isolated and extremely anxious like so many others. This pushed her to re-engage in the practice of yoga, and she discovered some classes held outdoors in local parks around the city.  With no intention of becoming a teacher, Debrina registered for yoga teacher training  to gain a deeper understanding and awareness of the practice. She quickly learned just as much as she loves being a student she loves to teach and share her journey with others.

Debrina credits Yoga and meditation with single handedly helping her get back that spark and zest for life, especially during some really dark times.  Through this journey My Mojo Yoga Detroit LLC was birthed, she genuinely believes yoga is for everyBODY (every race, every body type, every socio-economic, every human being) and that you can rediscover and awaken parts of yourself through breath and movement.  Simply put, “get your mojo back”.

Debrina is excited to be a part of this donation based community class at Coriander Kitchen and Farm located in Detroit District 4; the very community where she was raised and still has roots just a few blocks away.  Certified in both mat based and Aerial Yoga,  expect to be guided through a gentle but energetic Vinyasa flow that will get your body moving, breath flowing and leave your feeling refreshed.
