Music at Coriander – Audra Kubat

Coriander is BEAUTIFUL in the fall for music– the way the music carries over the water is magical. We are so happy to host such talent in our space. We know you are going to enjoy these sounds as well. As the pace of our day slows down, mimicking the shortening of days, the winding down of the season, we find this is the best time to make space for folks to gather round, stay warm and connected, and enjoy live music.

Let’s do drop-in. We are going to keep reservations for sections of restaurant that are further from music.

Artist Bio

Come join us and Audra Kubat on the pergola on November 16th from 7-9pm!

Audra Kubat is a Detroit born singer-songwriter. Self-taught, Kubat began composing music on the piano at the age of eight. In her teens she started putting words to the music. Teaching herself to play the guitar, she began performing in local coffeehouses. In 1999 she created the band, “Stunning Amazon”, and in November of that year released a self-titled album. The band became locally successful and the CD paved the way towards bigger shows and media appearances.

In 2000 Kubat was nominated for five Detroit Music Awards, winning one for Best Folk Artist and another win in 2015 for Best Americana Instrumentalist. Since then, she has received nominations every year since.
