Autumn Bulb Planting Workshop with Farmer Gwen

Are you excited by tulips in the springtime? How about the possibility of growing garlic in your own backyard?

Coriander Kitchen & Farm’s own Farmer Gwen will teach you everything you need to know to make that happen. Remember: A good Spring harvest and showstopper florals starts with good Fall planning.

Gwen will teach you how to select bulbs for this growing zone, explain the best practices for planting and tending the bulbs, and then demystify soil amendments.

Participants will have the opportunity to purchase tulip bulbs and garlic seed for 2024.

Plus, the workshop is being hosted on our Farm — which is on a full city block in the Eastern Market district — so you’ll get to experience what it’s like to plant 7,000 bulbs and put everything to bed for the season.
